The best camera is the one with you
I found this cool website which is mainly about the photos taken by iPhone. Why I would like to write a post on it is because the concept it brings to me, "The best camera is the one you have with you."
Like the photographer Jarvis, I have already got use to take pictures through iPhone (you can check my Flickr Album), although there are many constrains for imaging and capturing, the fun of saving the ever-lasting moments are brilliant. In fact, I agree that photography is about story and moments behind the captured scene, instead of how many pixels there are or how fancy the effect is.
When I was celebrating Hogmanay in Edinburgh at the beginning of 2009, I met a guy in a pub called "the world's end". Coincidentally, he was a western film-guy, but also working in HK. I talked with him for a while on Macintosh. When I asked him whether he used the state of the art software, FinalCut on Mac for editing films, he said, film is not just about post-production. What matters is the story it presents.
That left an impression on me.
