TED_Ideas worth spreading

Posted by Anonymous on 8:20 PM in , , , , ,

I attended the first TEDxPedition conference at Jockey Clubhouse in HK this morning. It was about sustainable development, social enterprise and social responsibility, which were quite new for me. I met bunches of people from all over the world, for instance, Harvard graduate who founded a company producing Yak products, Oxford students who are running an organization called SUCHEN which stands for Sustainable Chinese Enterprise, local entrepreneurs from Swire and others. We shared ideas and exchanged thoughts. I appreciate TED's slogan (ideas worth spreading) very much and will hopefully, attend the conference next year as well.

Here's one speech I found very fasinating and interesting on TED.com

The speech was made by Sir Ken Robinson, an internationally recognized leader in the development of innovation and Human Resources. He shared some entertaining and profoundly moving cases for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines) creativity.
